Country Jamboree Blowout!!!

The sun was out and the humidity was down making Sunday, July 21 a prefect day for Kingwood Democratic Committee’s third annual summer event.

And what a day!  

As people were arriving, we learned that our esteemed President, Joe Biden was withdrawing from the presidential race and had endorsed Vice-President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Candidate. The mood at the event was a mixture of respect and praise for our President and immediate words of overwhelming support for Kamala.  

Could it be any better? 

Music by the Back Porch Jugband, scrumptious food, friends, neighbors, guests from neighboring townships, state representatives and local and state candidates.  

The great mood was positively energiziing. We cannot wait until our next large function on September 29.
